Businesses seeking more sales, new customers, publicity opportunities and staff recognition are urged to enter the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards 2019.
These free to enter awards are designed to recognise the best logistics businesses and staff in Northamptonshire – a county in which one in seven people are employed in the logistics sector.
Previous winners have pledged their support and have spoken about the benefits of being involved – with the 2019 awards once again supported by headline sponsors MHA MacIntyre Hudson.
Marisa Baker is Senior Business Partner at Kingsley Consulting Ltd, which last year scooped two top awards.
“We now have even more confidence in our ability to explore new opportunities as a recruitment consultancy,” said Marisa, “and have been able to develop a successful social enterprise model to help even more disadvantaged people into employment – all off the back of winning our awards.
“Being able to build better partnerships with other organisations to launch a new training and mentorship programme means we are now helping many more homeless people, ex-offenders, former-service personnel and others facing barriers to employment, become more job-ready for work in the logistics industry.
“Kingsley Consulting’s work in the logistics sector also grew by 57% last year, and the boost in our reputation following the awards definitely helped us achieve these successes.
“The Northampton Logistics Awards is an amazing platform to celebrate success within our county, and I would encourage anyone to apply so that they too can shout out about their achievements.”
Northamptonshire, so it is important and fitting to celebrate and recognise their incredible work and achievements.”
Tony Bellott, Chair of the Northamptonshire Logistics Forum, added: “We already have some excellent entries and are now keen to spread the word further so that logistics businesses county-wide can take part in this exciting celebration of logistics excellence. So, make the time to enter – we are here to help if you need us. It will be time well spent and being shortlisted, let alone winning, can help grow your businesses – its reputation, sales, pub awareness
