Germany – the business was founded by two German’s although, with over 74,000 employees at some 1,300 locations in over 100 countries, the Kuehne + Nagel Group is one of the world's leading logistics companies.

We want to encourage as many businesses in the logistics sector to enter these awards – what words of encouragement can you share with us? Why do you think these awards are so important?

This is the third year that Kuehne + Nagel and myself in particular have been involved in the awards, and each year has had finalists.  I understand first-hand what this can do for the associates that are nominated and especially for any that win such an accolade – it is a fantastic way of recognising talented people and businesses.  It is also a great way of networking with peers and other businesses, and I have seen each year the results in terms of growth of businesses such as Pallite.  Not to mention the confidence in individuals that have been finalists and or won awards which has then motivated them to strive for even better results and achievements.
